Deaerators and Defoamers

Foam and air entrapment commonly occur during coating production, transportation, application and film formation, leaving persistent defects in liquid coatings and cured films. These issues are unavoidable and difficult to resolve through natural defoaming. Hence, targeted formula optimization combined with high-performance silicone defoamers and foam suppressants is essential to secure premium coating quality.

Our silicone-based Wyncoat® Defoamers in concentrated, emulsion and solution types, which are precisely engineered for solvent-based(SB), water-based(WB) and solvent-free radiation-curing(UV) coating systems.

Our deaerators reliably reduce air inclusions and pinholes across WB, SB and UV coatings. They maintain outstanding stability in high-viscosity and high-solids formulations, and are well-suited for heavy-build spraying processes. Meanwhile, our defoamers effectively inhibit foam generation throughout the production and application of waterborne coatings and printing inks, break down existing foam, and prevent secondary air entrapment, achieving a smooth, defect-free coating finish.
