Product Launch: Alkyl‑Modified Silicone Waxes (C18 & C30)
Alkyl-Modified Silicone Waxes: A Smart Temperature Switch for Superior Skin Feel and Structure

Four flagship grades | Melting points customizable within 30–80 °C | Tailored skin feel, structure and stability

[Hangzhou, Oct.22nd, 2026]— A new C18 and C30 alkyl-modified silicone wax portfolio has been launched to give formulators an all-in-one silicone structuring solution. Covering 30–80 °C, these non-ionic, oil-soluble waxes address poor oil compatibility, insufficient structure and syneresis across O/W, W/O and water-in-silicone systems.

Combining silicone spreadability with long-chain alkane structuring, they help balance melting point, skin feel and stability in lipsticks, hair waxes, sunscreens and other personal care products.

C18 Series: 30–50 °C Skin-Feel Zone

  • SC-9381 (~30 °C), benchmarked against Wacker W23: lowest-melting grade; ideal for lip oils, lip glosses, light lotions and hair oils.
  • SC-9382 (~34 °C), benchmarked against Dow 2503: melt-on-contact, moisturizing, non-comedogenic; suitable for creams, body lotions, color cosmetics and sunscreens.

C30 Series: 50–80 °C Structural Support Zone

  • SC-9331 (~65 °C), benchmarked against Biomax SF-240-55: silky gloss and structural support; recommended at 4–12% for lipsticks, hair waxes and eyebrow pencils.
  • SC-9332 (~72 °C), benchmarked against Dow AMS-C30-WAX: high melting point, rheology modification and reduced syneresis; suitable for emulsions, gels and sticks.

Customization and Technical Support

Custom melting points are available—C18 within 30–50 °C and C30 within 50–80 °C. Samples, TDS and SDS are available, with support for compatibility testing and formula troubleshooting.
