Preparation Method of Epoxy Resin Prepreg

The preparation method of the epoxy resin prepreg, as described in claim 6, is characterized by the following steps:

  1. Epoxy Matrix Resin Preparation: In this step, you weigh 40 parts by weight of phenolic epoxy resin, 60 parts by weight of bisphenol A epoxy resin, 2-10 parts by weight of a core-shell polymer, 15-24 parts by weight of a curing agent, and 3.0-6.0 parts by weight of a curing accelerator. The curing agent is a complex combination of dicyandiamide and 4,4'-diaminodiphenylsulfone, with mass fractions of 4,4'-diaminodiphenylsulfone and dicyandiamide at 18 and 6, 14 and 7, 10 and 8, or 6 and 9, respectively. The curing accelerator is an organic urea or its derivative. Mix 40 parts of phenolic epoxy resin, 60 parts of bisphenol A epoxy resin, and 2-10 parts of the core-shell polymer in a container and heat them to 150 ℃ under stirring conditions. Add the 4,4'-diaminodiphenylsulfone curing agent from the previous step, continue stirring and heating to 150 ℃, hold for 3-5 minutes, and then cool to room temperature to obtain B-order resin.

  2. Epoxy Matrix Resin Grinding: Take 30 parts of the B-order resin obtained in step 1 and place them in a three-roller grinder. Add the dicyandiamide curing agent from step 1 and the 3.0-6.0 parts of the curing accelerator from step 1. Grind the resin in a three-roller grinder for 3-6 cycles, then add the remaining B-order resin prepared in step 1. Continue grinding the resin in the three-roller grinder for 3-6 cycles to obtain the epoxy matrix resin. Maintain the temperature of the three-roller grinding machine at 60-70 ℃.

Prepreg Preparation:

  1. Release Paper and Fiber Fabric Setup: Hang the single-sided release paper on the single-sided release paper winding roller shaft (1), the intermediate shaft (5), and the single-sided release paper winding roller shaft (4) in order to form a transmission connection. Do the same for the double-sided release paper, hanging it on the double-sided release paper winding roller shaft (2), the intermediate shaft (5), and the product winding roller shaft (3). Ensure that the fiber woven fabric is placed between the single-sided release paper winding roller shaft 1 and the double-sided release paper winding roller shaft (2). In this arrangement, the single-sided release paper contacts the intermediate roller shaft (5). Preheat the single-sided release paper winding roller shaft (1) and the double-sided release paper winding roller shaft (2) to 75-85 ℃.

  2. Resin Application: Pour the epoxy matrix resin prepared in step 1 into the "V-shaped" space created by the single-sided release paper winding roller shaft (1) and the fiber woven cloth. Activate the device to allow the fiber woven fabric and epoxy matrix resin to pass through the gap between the single-sided release paper winding roller shaft (1) and the double-sided release paper winding roller shaft (2). This results in prepregs with single-sided release paper and double-sided release paper adhered on both sides. Control the distance between the single-sided release paper winding roller shaft (1) and the double-sided release paper winding roller shaft (2) to be 0.1-2mm, maintain the linearity of the double-sided release paper winding roller shaft (2) between 100-300m/h, and keep the temperature of the epoxy matrix resin at 75-85 ℃.

  3. Prepreg Finalization: Under the action of the single-sided release paper winding roller shaft (4), the single-sided release paper is peeled off. Simultaneously, the product winding roller shaft (3) rolls the prepreg with double-sided release paper adhered to one side, completing the preparation of the prepreg.
