Preparation of Organosilicon-Modified Phenolic Enzymatic Resin

Example of Organosilicon-Modified Phenolic Enzymatic Resin Preparation:

(1) The adhesive used for copper foil insulation boards is suitable for bonding copper pins and phenolic resin laminates with silica-fired modified phenolic resin. The resin can be prepared using soluble phenolic resin, silicone coupling agent, polyvinyl alcohol succinate, and organic solvents. Here is an example of the preparation process:

  • Combine 640g of C6 into OH, 400g of HCHO, and 44g of Zn (OAc)2, and heat and reflux the mixture while dehydrating it for 6 hours.
  • Dilute the resulting mixture with 12.2g of MeOH to obtain a linear phenolic resin with a solid content of 80%. This resin contains free C6 to OH at 5-8% and 29% of C-pressure OCH2 base.
  • Take 13 portions of the linear phenolic resin and mix it with 9.6 portions of polyvinyl alcohol butyric cheese with an average polymerization degree of 2500. Add 0.1 part of pressure NC2 compared to NHC3H heart (OMe=and 77), and mix it with 8 parts of solvent to create the adhesive.
  • Apply the adhesive to the copper foil. After drying, place the copper foil onto an 8-layer laminated board made of phenolic resin impregnated paper, and cure it under pressure at 150°C for 60 minutes.
  • The resulting laminated product exhibits a peel strength of 0.22MPa and has a welding resistance time of 28 seconds.

(2) The water-based modified phenolic resin coating contains organic silicon compounds with a burning oxygen group, which easily react with organic compounds containing light groups. This reaction forms a three-dimensional network with a silicon-oxygen bond structure. However, there is a competitive reaction of phenol self-polymerization during the process, making the competitive polymerization between the two reactions crucial for the success of the modification. Here is an example of the preparation process:

  • Combine 1.5g of 34% silicon dioxide water lotion (particle size: 20nm, specific surface area: 150m2/g), 5g of 51% phenolic resin with an average molar mass of 200-250g/mol, 4g of MeSi (OMe)3, 0.8g of AcOH, 2.7g of iPrOH, and 8g of BuOC Wei OH.
  • Mix the ingredients to obtain a coating, and apply it to glass, polycarbonate, or aluminum plates.
  • Cure the coating at 110°C to obtain a transparent and hard coating with a thickness of 2-10 µm. The resulting coating exhibits excellent wear resistance and acid resistance and can be diluted with water.

(3) Adding silica-fired micro powder to phenolic resin can effectively improve its anti-cracking performance, making it an ideal anti-cracking phenolic resin molding material. Here is an example of the preparation process:

  • Combine 100 parts by mass of MT silicone resin with a viscosity of 350mPa•s (25°C) and a vinyl group (containing Me core 005 chain segment 35 mol%, MeSi01.s chain segment 63 mol%, and ViMe core 005 chain segment 2 mol%), 3 parts of methyl hydrogen silicone oil, and a small amount of PtCl4 pressure PrOH catalyst.
  • React the mixture at 100°C for 3 hours to obtain solid silica fume. Grind and sieve the silica fume through a 100 mesh sieve to obtain ultrafine powder.
  • Take out 6 portions of the silica fume and mix it with 30 portions of linear phenolic resin (softening point: 80°C, light base equivalent value: 100), 70 portions of silica, 4 portions of hexamethylene tetramine, and 1 portion of Brazilian palm wax to obtain the molding compound.
  • Transfer the compound to a mold and mold it at 175°C and 7MPa for 3 minutes. Cure it for an additional 2 hours at 150°C.
  • The resulting product exhibits a primary molding shrinkage rate of 0.07%, secondary curing shrinkage rate of 0.12%, bending strength of 109MPa, and coefficient of thermal expansion of 0.3x10^-5/°C.
